As usual, the last 24 hours of the Kilted to Kick Cancer Fundraising Challenge are hot and heavy.
Team Dragon pulled into the lead just a few short hours ago, with Team HBC Concealment less than $100 behind, with rumors of a big dump of raffle money into their campaign later today.
Team Ambulance Driver is in 3rd place, with Team Soul Crusher and Team Happy Medic rounding out the top five, but since the KTKC organizers have declared themselves ineligible for prizes, that leaves Team Lonely Mountain and Team Liberty Martial Arts battling for 3rd and 4th place.
The fundraising standings “went dark” as of yesterday. Online donations will count until midnight CST, and all mailed donations postmarked September 30 or before will be counted, as well.
Since it’ll take us a few days to compile and credit those donations, but we’ll be announcing the winners and letting them choose their prize packages in the first week of October.
We’ve already broken the $20,000 threshold, and we’re on track to have our highest fundraising totals ever, so you guys keep your foot on the gas, especially you teams in the top four!
