The Fund Raising Challenge:
- You must be 21 to enter, and be eligible to own or possess a handgun and/or ammunition. All handgun transfers are subject to applicable FFL transfer laws and the laws of your state. The handgun winner must pay the applicable FFL transfer fee.
- Wear a kilt for the month of September, Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. When you're not required to be in a uniform or otherwise attired, go kilted. If you'd prefer to raise funds without going kilted, that's okay. Kilts aren't for everyone. But seriously, give it a try. It's liberating!
- Post a photo of yourself in your kilt on the front page of your blog, with a link to the Kilted to Kick Cancer homepage. If you're not going kilted, then put up the official Kilted to Kick Cancer badge or logo in lieu of a photo.
- Sign up as a donor to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, LiveStrong, or Blue Cure.
- Solicit donations, and may the top blogger win! You can solicit donations to any of our 501c3 (tax deductible!) charities, or all of them! If you choose to raise funds for all charities, your cumulative total will be counted toward award of the prizes.
- All donations MUST be through the team fundraising sites. That's how we track how much money you've raised! You can start fundraising as early as you like, and keep soliciting donations as long as you like, but only the donations made from 00:01 CST on September 1 through 23:59 CST on September 30 will count toward the fundraising challenge.
- Top three fundraisers will win a set of nice gifts, generously donated by a lot of good people from the shooting community. Top fundraiser chooses first from our prize packages, second places chooses second, and third place gets the remaining prize package. What are the prize packages? Glad you asked!
