Time to Strap On Your Kilts!

Kilted to Kick Cancer 2012 is right around the corner, folks!

Last year, we raised over $12,000.

This year, the goal is $50,000. I know it's a lofty one, but it can be done.

See that map? Those blue states represent the Kilted Army (okay, maybe right now it's just a platoon) prepared to strap on their kilts come September 1, raising awareness and money for male-specific cancer research.

By September 1, I want to see that map totally blanketed in blue.

Go to the Kilted to Kick Cancer website, and sign up as a kilted representative in your state.

Sign up for Team KTKC for Prostate Cancer Foundation here, or Team KTKC for LiveStrong here.

Then, hit up your friends, relatives, co-workers and random strangers to get themselves checked, and to donate generously. Get your employer to match employee donations if you can.

If you're one of the top three fundraisers, there are a pretty sweet set of prize packages to choose from, and more prizes will be added soon.

Email me or drop a comment on the blog, and I can send you card templates, sample press releases and media to help your fundraising efforts.

So let's get kilted!

I also am waiting for my kilt to arrive, plus has anyone put together the Kilted to Kick Cancer T-shirts?  If not I can put one together on my zazzle account.  Let me know.

I’m signed up for both Livestrong and Team KTKC. I picked out a couple good kilts to wear; looking forward to raising a lot of money for the cause!

Don’t get too excited or I’m afraid the kilt won’t fit correctly!

    Got
a link for us?  A doohickey (don’t you love my technical terms?) that’ll
let me link directly to your pot (you know you love me, just for that) from my
blog?  Give a girl some help!
