All that’s known right now is that he failed to wake up in the morning. He did have some health problems, and had sounded right awful [labored breathing, low energy] the last few times I spoke with him. He insisted it was a lingering cold or bronchitis. I feared pnemonia, and told him so, but it could have been a cardiopulmonary problem. That was last Thursday night….

As I have been learning the ins and outs of driving, post changes, and dispatch- you’re dead on right! Thanks to a brain dead fill in partner who managed to infuriate dispatch I’ve made goodies to smooth it over because otherwise we would’ve been on our busiest post the rest of our scheduled shifts- ugghhhhh! but you have to wonder what goes through their brains when you spend approximately one and a half hours circling a 4 mile square radius in construction zones! oh well!
