For any of you who are interested, I’ve created A Day In The Life Of An Ambulance Driver page on Facebook.
Become a fan. You know you want to.
You may also notice a couple of new tabs on the blog. One is for merchandise, and as soon as I can work out an agreement with a fulfillment house who doesn’t have a stick up their ass like Zazzle, I’ll have some Ambulance Driver schwag on there.
The second tab is for you fans of Star of Life. I haven’t posted a new chapter in eons, but some are coming. Be patient.
Now go tell all your Facebook friends to become a fan of my page!

Glad to hear we might get another chapter for Star of Life eventually
For real real? More Star of Life in the works?
When SOL is finished it would be cool if it were available in print format. I'm not sure what your obligations are to the publisher of En Route, but perhaps utilizing a print on demand publisher like Lulu would suffice. I'm pretty sure that your throngs of adoring fans would be willing to shell out a few pesos for it. I know I would.
I follow your blog using google reader since it works best for viewing on an iPhone. Did you change over some viewing options on your blog? Google reader can now only pull the first couple of lines, I then have to go to your blog page to view the entire post. If this is unintentional, can you change it back? If it is intentional, I will survive, just blows to have to load a new page on the iPhone everytime I want to read your post.
Justin, it was an intentional change.
Since I've joined the JEMS blog network, my readership is down close to 30%, and I'm not sure what to make of that.
Part of the reason may be that my readership has been diluted somewhat by my feed to my Facebook account, and possibly because more people are reading through feed readers and aggregators like Google Reader, and not clicking through to the blog.
This is an experiment, and I may well go back to enabling the full posts in my feed. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks, and see what happens, complaints and traffic-wise.
Try to be patient, brother.
I wonder how many people are going to report it to Facebook because they find the term “Ambulance Driver” offensive.
Dave, he'll be lucky if that's the only thing that people find offensive on his blog!
Moar Star of Life? YES!! Now, if only we could get a certain Deppity Dawg to write his next Perspectives column, life would be great. *grin*
And publishing it? Heck, why not. Larry Correia got Baen to pick up MHI after becoming a self-publishing hit!
As for your readership being down… I have to admit that this new host of yours SUCKS. The page loads SLOW and the lag when I scroll up or down drives me nuts. The commenting engine sucks, too. I'd vote for you picking up your marbles and going back to blogspot. The only reason that I tolerate this crappy host of yours is for the content.
I just created a Paramedicine 101 page on facebook yesterday. Had to finally give in. I guess great minds think alike. Or feeble ones…
“as soon as I can work out an agreement with a fulfillment house who doesn’t have a stick up their ass like Zazzle…”
It sounds like there's a story here, AD.
According to Zazzle, a couple of pictures of Van Gogh art are copyrighted images and not public domain.
But as soon as I can get a signed release from Mr. Van Gogh, they'll put my gallery back up.
“But as soon as I can get a signed release from Mr. Van Gogh…”
I'm thinking that could be arranged.
Can't wait to read more from Star of Life. Came across it last year and really enjoyed the first chapters. Does the legendary Hawkeye do battle with Somdood?
