    Yes, the article does address the 5 second rule. The title is a bit misleading.

    Clearly, the most important factor is the cleanliness of the floor. Also, PB&J and carpeted flooring are a definite No. However, if I drop something on Willie Wonka's floor, I'm going back for seconds.
