Ahem. You fail to mention a Texas blogger that will be attending to your needs while the two of you invade our fair state.
When looking for a good restaurant at which to meet I would suggest not relying on ratings by the locals. Fort Worth Star Telegram readers voted Olive Garden as the 2007 top place to chow down. Nuff said, I think.
My suggestion for a meeting place would be Angelo's for Bar-B-Cue, La Familia for Mexican, or for steak, chicken fried steak and longnecks at one of the original Texas hole-in-the-wall joints, lets go back to the Star Cafe.
AD, you had mentioned Texas de Brasil, which is sure enough good food, but a little pricy. Cheapest entre on the menu is $25.00.
Speakertweaker – the conference is in Austin next year. Is that south enough for you?
