    Love the new site, except for one little thing.

    I own a Glock 17, and I lurves it. However, the gun I'm shooting in the photo is an officer-length 1911 in .45 ACP. If you look very closely, you can still see the brass in the air at the top of the frame.

    The 1911 in .45ACP is an absolute favorite.

    Had a Glock, liked it, didn't love it. Sold it and bought a S&W 6906, which I really love. Never had 1911, not sure I want one. Then again I didn't care about having an AR15 until I decided I needed one.

    As to the new site. It's OK, I guess. Sort of homogenized corporate look to it, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

    Holy busy page. Nice setup, but the old one loaded a LOT faster. 'Course, my 'net connection could be better.

    It looks sharp. The disqus comment module is probably as easy to use as the blogspot one, I think. The banner looks good too.

    I too had the same feeling when I came over. You are so used to your own blog and how you had it set up, that this takes some getting used to!

    However, now Im here and settled, It all good!

    I realize the color scheme is all consistent the the ems site, and that it is based on an ambulance color scheme (at least one that was popular in Boston while I was growing up. creamsicle orange and blue over white was what most of the buses wore back then); but it's pretty awful for a blog color scheme.

    Other than that, coolness.

    Hrrrmmm, I need to get used to this. It don't look……Ambulance Driver to me.

    And since I pitched a fit to end all fits when Marcus moved me over to WordPress and I had to fiddle and monkeyfuck my blog to make it look EXACTLY like it did on blogger, I may never get used to this look.

    I don't do well with change. ;-)

    Great new layout. It's so modern, it's like, “ultra-modern!” And don't knock the Glock. We use them in the Philly PD, and I love mine.

    Frankly, no. It takes at twice as long to load and the organization is unlike any other blog format I've seen. I liked the old AD site much better even with all the issues with Blogspot.

    I feel your pain, Crucis. I'm still learning to navigate WordPress, and I really miss the old, nostalgic feel of my old blogspot template. They tell me new templates will be added every couple of months, so you may yet see changes if I find one I like better. Until then, I'm going to experiment with moving some of the additional content to new pages, so that the main page loads faster. Bear with me, please.
