I just put together a list of iphone/itouch apps for EMTs/Paramedics, could you share my post with your readers? If there's a app you use often in the field that isn't on my list, let me know in the comments (or email me) and I can add it. Did you know apps can be written off on
taxes?:) Might even be able to write off a iphone too if you can show that you only use it for work (for the apps!).

Ted: I'm not sure the "ill repute" matters so much. Sure, it affects whether you actually got anything for your money, but not the state of your wallet.

If memory serves, there was an establishment in the city I live in that was held in similar regard among local law enforcement.

One night, it tragically caught fire. No one was hurt, and, to the best of my recollection, there were no accusations that the local fire department did anything improper.

However, some of the law enforcement radio traffic was overheard by people who weren't part of law enforcement, and found what was being said…insufficiently respectful of the gravity of the situation. I think some of the MDT traffic leaked out as well.

The local city council, after threats of lawsuits, etc., gave the owners a fairly large sum of money to go away.

I guess the moral of this story is; hey, let's be careful out there.
