Sometimes Being a Man…

Comments

… means suppressing every instinct that manhood has instilled in you, and doing something else instead.

Go see how my buddy JB On The Rocks handled his moment.

Dedicated Dad: Statistically, false reports make up 1%. Fathers perpetrate sexual offenses against their children more than strangers - including step-fathers. In fact, a good number of step-fathers are filling the void an abusive father left behind.

You make a valid point of careful consideration in the cases of accusations during divorces; however, most times it is because of these accusations that the parents are splitting - not visa versa.

The number of fathers who rape, molest, and sell their children into sex and child porn is staggering and would probably make you weep, if you are the kind of man you claim to be.

I am sorry for what you say you experienced, but it does not diminish the facts of sexual abuse committed by a child's own parents. It happens every single day in this country and abroad.

    Accusation <> Guilt.

I was (falsely, obviously) accused in the middle of my divorce/custody battle. It was among the most horrific experiences I can imagine.

FATHERS almost never do stuff like this, but STEP fathers (or, more acurately, "the guy mom's screwing THIS month") do with sick regularity.

The fact is that today false accusations against FATHERS far outnumber actual guilty men. PLEASE bear this in mind when someone you know gets accused -- ESPECIALLY in the middle of a divorce or custody battle...

Thank you for linking this. I plan on doing so, also.

As the husband of a victim of this type of abuse, I hold a very special and deep contempt for this type of scum. The "father" was never punished because of money passed around.
The molester could not understand why I would never talk or interact with him. It was a "mistake". A mistake he happened to make with 4 daughters over the period of years.

When he lay in the hospital dying from cancer, I made sure all the caregivers knew about his past. It's amazing the different ways a catheter can be removed or how a needle can change gauge with this information known.

Hopefully that will improve health for all on this, the government must give force to the health sector, as there are many people who suffer from chronic illnesses and who need help to cover expenses stronger as fibromyalgia, cancer, producing a series very heavy cost to those who suffer as they must take powerful drugs such as oxycodone, vicodin, Lortab, drugs that are highly controlled and that findrxonline indicate that opioids are very strong and anxiolytics do not know if that can be given life-threatening that consumes, that is why many times the costs are too high to be able to obtain and soothe the intense pain.

I have two daughters. Never mind that they are 20 and 17 now, they are still my babies. I'd die for them. I sure as hell kill to protect them. From the day they were born to the day I die, I'll feel that way. All the fathers I know would do the same.

The very thought that any "father" could do that makes me want to puke.

I think Texas used to allow a homicide defense called "Needed Kill'in"

    This mutt simply needs killing.

    Slowly.

Special place in hell is right... And they will kill him slowly in prison, given the chance.

JB does know how to write. Too bad he had the opportunity to demonstrate that ability in this case.

It's too bad that we've populated the earth so well. There was a time when we could exile folks like that outside the city walls.

OTOH, in other mammal species, the mother would likely defend the cub/calf/fawn/kitten/pup from any male that tried to hurt her child. Then the group would drive them out of the herd/pack (or rip his throat out).

I hope our society's tolerance for this sort of crap doesn't imply bad news for our species.

There is a special place in Hell for those who abuse children.

People like that...gah. Give me a blow torch, some rock salt and a roll of barbed wire.

Bless your firend, and everyone who deals with such hideousness.

Don't worry about the child molesters getting away with it- according to some family members who are in the know- they, child killers, and rapists usually have a short life span in prison should they get that far- an unwritten code of honor among villians I'm told! And I think anyone accused of should automatically be thrown in jail and left there- for nature to take its course!

My sympathy and empathy to anyone who has ever had a call like this. It's why we hate what we do, and why we do it. Calls with kids are our biggest fear, I think. Very well told, I hope it served as an outlet for this person.
Lighter note: my thought is that child molesters should be tied to a pole in the center of a pen full of week-old calves. Think about it.
