Happiness Is…

…having to stand on a chair and use wide angle to get all the guns in the picture.

And that ain’t all the guns.

We had the ATF Trifecta early on:

That’s alcohol, tobacco and firearms, all in one picture, with extra points for the 1911 shaped tequila decanter. We even had explosives, generously supplied by those of us who had partaken of the Brazilian sausage at Texas de Brazil the night before. Unfortunately, Phlegmmy had kenneled her dogs so there was no one convenient to blame it on, so we had to do our detonations outside.

Going to go out shooting today – squeee! – so the detailed after-action report with all the bloggers in attendance will have to wait until this afternoon.

You said you were gonna post a picture of me on your blog… if I’d known you meant a slice of leg next to a bunch of guns, I wouldn’t have argued!

Best T-shirt I ever saw: “Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.”Nice selection, AD.

And that was just the guns from three guys and a girl. We enjoyed ourselves. Got you linked.

Absolutely friggin lovely. I wanted to try the same thing with my guns and Hubby’s, but there ain’t a wide angle lens that’s wide enough, since we have mostly long guns.

Good thing the place wasn’t robbed. Imagine all of the holes in the guy afterward.

Reminds me of yesterday when I was at a training conference. At the beginning of a block of knife and counter-knife instruction, the instructor wisely asked everyone to remove any live weapons and put them on a back table. I was hilarious watching people pull guns, ammo, flashlights, and knives from every conceivable location.

I don’t think having a 100 of those wimpy guns will save you from an armed militia with tanks and missiles. After about the first two or three, it’s really nothing more than an expensive hobby.

Happy, you say “expensive hobby” like it’s a bad thing. And the puny weapons are there for the lone attacker. We keep the Claymores and crew-served weapons back at the compound.
