Yesterday, on Saturday, 22 of November in the Year of Our Lord 2008…

…Sarah Brady died a little inside.

Pardon the crapitude of my cell phone camera, but clockwise from the top, that’s a Yildiz 12 gauge over/under in 3 inch magnum with screw in choke tubes, Bushmaster AR15 with 30 round mag, Heritage Arms Rough Rider .22 LR single action revolver with interchangeable .22 Magnum cylinder, and Glock 17 with Blackhawk Serpa holster.

Never send an Ambulance Driver with a flush checking account to the gun store, kiddies.

Now all I need are some more good AR 15 and Glock magazines.

As of yet, I’m still not feeling that uncontrollable blood lust that supposedly comes with buying so many weapons at once.

I’ll keep you posted, though.

    Hubby spent his portion of the economic stimulus on his AR-15. He loves that gun more than me right now. J/K. He's already talking about taking the middle thick part off and replacing it with something that will give him a handle. This is written by a woman who tends to zone out if he talks to long about his guns or Akira Kurisowa (sp?) movies. < />< />I won my Glock 19 in a drawing at bargain barn.

    They are all very nice. The only one that I'm reasonably sure is available in the People's Republic of MA. The Glock isn't available new, certainly not with hi cap mags. Forget the AR, it has a collapsable stock. I don't know about the SAA replica, but I doubt. < />< />About the best I could do was hold them and dream. < />< />Unlike the PRM AD could actually bring those into Texas without risk. < />< />I hate Massachusetts.

    Yeah I know nothing about guns (I know I know I suck) but seriously if your gonna go gun shopping shouldn't you at least buy them a pretty bag to take them home in... and then a new shirt to wear while carrying the pretty bag... and new pants because the shirt must match. See why I don't have guns, they just don't accessorize well with the wardrobe!

    The Magpul PMags are great, but currently may as well be made of unobtanium. They're out of stock everywhere.< />< />The best easily obtainable AR mags are probably from Brownells- they make their own, and they're pretty good and reasonably priced. Even if they show as out of stock, they are good at getting backorders out quickly (mine shipped within a couple days).

    Make sure you put some loc-tite on the screws on that Rough Rider. Mine shook the screws loose after 25 rounds or so.
