Groovy, Baby! Yeah!

I scored a Far Out
90% on the

Quiz by SheGoddess:

Probably because I grew up listening to my brother’s music. It was a steady diet of 70s rock bands. Hell, the first song my own daughter ever sang was Drift Away.

50%. And I turned 14 in 1970.We were more into The Stones, Grateful Dead, The Who, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Jethro Tull, Santana, Frank (Zappa), Allman Brothers, and I could go on and on.Anything that made it into Casey Kasem’s top 40 was pretty much the kiss of death. The only cool Beatles album was The White Album. The quiz was well done. The ones I knew I knew in a split second. Every one I didn’t know I got the wrong answer.I leave you with one song that used to be popular on the radio sometime back then, and I hadn’t heard it since until today:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9slMlrBHgjs

80% The Disco kind of got me. I have an excuse tho, I grew up in Chicago and Disco was not the most popular of music. Remember the canceled White Sox game because they blew up all those Disco albums? I know we missed some but us Old Rock & Rollers are workin on it!
