More to the point, is this something I can bring to the attention of the local police?

If not, maybe Strings can get some of his BACA brothers to pay Daddy a visit…

Sir, one thing you might like to consider. The Browser Identification string on that trace is peculiar; Windows doesn’t normally contain the word “FunWebProducts”.I googled this phrase, and it turns out to be the signature of some rather dubious software which may or may not be spyware; it infects Internet Explorer, and makes its self difficult to remove thereafter. The user of this copy of Windows may not therefore be in full control of his system; someone else may be pulling the strings of this puppet. In view of this, it may not be a great idea to let the police loose on the fellow without telling them this nugget of info.

Don’t know if someone already said this, but you can turn it over to the FBI. Please. My stepsons were molested by their stepfather who spent a lot of time looking at porn and (probably) crap like this on the computer. The FBI may do nothing, but at least you’ve tried to do SOMETHING. You never know when it might save some child.

Wow… I’m gone for a couple says, and AD gets a sicko search… There really isn’t much that can be done against people like this: even if it was an actual person, and not a bot. Just typing creepifying word strings into a search engine isn’t an actionable activity…

You don’t even need to look them up yourself. Simply report them to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the problem will get taken care of, post-haste. They take these reports very seriously.https://secure.missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/CybertipServlet?LanguageCountry=en_US
